Johku Fell – skiing above the lake

12 slopes, 5 lifts and a view across Lake Johku from the top. Buy your lift tickets and rental gear online and head straight to the slopes.

Slopes for the whole family

Johku Fell has 12 slopes, 8 of them floodlit. The vertical drop is 230 metres and the longest run, the East Slope, is 1.4 km. Children start in Tenavamaa, the kids' area with its own magic carpet and gentle hill. The four-seater Summit Lift takes you straight to Tunturikahvila, our summit café, and the fun park has jumps and rails for different levels. The season runs from 28 November to the end of April, snow permitting.

Tickets and gear ready online

Buy your lift ticket online and show your confirmation at the ticket office to get your lift card. When renting skis or a snowboard, tell us your height, weight and shoe size when you book. We have your gear ready, and you only need to try on your boots.

Ski school

Group lessons run daily at 10.30 and 13.00, and private lessons can be booked throughout the day. Tunturitenavat is our ski club for children aged 4–6.

Stay at the foot of the slopes

Our 20 slope apartments are 50 metres from the Summit Lift, from studios for two to six-person apartments with a private sauna. Your door code arrives by message, so there are no keys to collect.

Ski bus

During the ski season, the ski bus runs daily from Johkula centre via Johku Resort to the slopes. The bus is run by the municipality of Johkula: add a day or week ticket to your basket on the Visit Johkula marketplace.
